- Not many know that Jacqueline was born in Bahrain and belongs to a multicultural family. Jackky’s family includes members with roots in Sri Lanka, Canada, and Malaysia—making her genuinely multicultural.
- Jacqueline is a mass communication graduate, after which she even filled in as a TV correspondent for a brief period. Her reporting assignment was significantly in Sri Lanka, not long after which she took up modelling and was delegated as Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006.
- After winning the title of Miss Sri Lanka universe 2006, Jacqueline was casted in a music video by Sri Lankan duo Bathiya and Santhush in a song called ‘O Sathi’ which was released in 2007.
- Jacqueline was involved with Hindi film producer Sajid Khan, however they broke up as apparently Sajid was very over-possessive and it was starting to hinder her career.
