Mumbai: Comedian Kapil Sharma turn 38 Tuesday. Today, Kapil is a household name and has been added in 2013 Forbes magazine in the list of top-100 celebrities.
On his personal front, Kapil married his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath, 12 December 2018 and returned to television with his show The Kapil Sharma Show. While everything is working well for the comedian turned actor-producer, lets take a look into his struggling days on his birthday.
Tell us tell you about their tragic love story….
During an interview, Kapil had revealed that he came to know from his friends in college that Ginni loved him. Later kapil confronted her and she said yes. There were circumstances where they thought their relationship won’t survive.
Then Kapil came to Mumbai for auditions but received a heart broken call where Ginny asked him to never call her because Ginny believed that there is no future of this relationship’’ Kapil added.
Kapil also said, ’’Once, Kapil’s mother went to Ginni’s family with a marriage proposal. But, they denied. After I settled in Mumbai, my mom again went to Gini’s house with the same proposal but this time they said yes”.
On work front, Kapil has hosted ’60th Filmfare Award’, ’22nd Star Screen Award’, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6′, ’61st Filmfare Award’, ’62nd Filmfare Award’. Kapil has worked in 3 Bollywood movies ‘Understanding emotions’, ‘Kiss Kiss ko Pyar Karu’ and ‘Firangi’. Currently his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show Season 2’ started in Sony.
