Born in 1976 in Cuttack, Odisha, Sona first came into the limelight with Aamir Khan’s show Satyamev Jayate. He gained popularity with ‘Mujhe kya Bechega Rupaiya’ in ‘Satyamev Jayate’. Later, she received rape threats on social media from Salman Khan fans.
Sona had alleged that ‘after criticising Salman Khan on social media, she received rape threats more than 1,000 times in 48 hours. Her morphed nude photos were forwarded to her, which shows how much poison is mixed in our society.
