Happy Teachers’ day: Classic Indian ads that will make you miss your school

Student-teacher bonding is one of the most beautiful and precious relationships on earth.  Teachers play a pivotal role in not only shaping the lives of students but also enlighten their lives for a bright future. Based on this special relationship, some ads on numerous occasions have released that always managed to bring a smile on our faces.

Capturing this special bond on lens, many Indian brands came up with really heart touching advertisements that will make you want to miss your school again.

Let’s celebrate this teacher’s day with a trip down memory lane:

Raymond:

There are two parts of the ads – in the 1st part a bunch of students bid farewell to their favorite teacher by gifting him a Raymond suiting with a message, “To the man who taught us everything, thank you.” And in the second part the teacher arrives at his student’s wedding. The groom recalls the farewell of his teacher, and soon reaches out to him and instantly touches his feet.

In this beautiful ad, the teacher had come to his student’s place to invite him for a college function. The student proceeds to make tea for him. After having it, when the student asks the teacher about the taste of tea, the teacher says, “shall I say the same thing, I used to say in college? Visa:

This ad by Visa was released just after demonetization to highlight the cashless transaction. In this ad, the student who was not interested in attending classes comes to the teacher and teaches him how to use the ATM card at a point of sale. When the student asks, “will you remember how it is done?”

The teacher replied, “There is an old saying that when the great teacher imparts the most precious life lesson, you will remember them till the end of the life.”

Cadbury Bournvita:

This is arguably the best ad especially for all parents where a school Principal urges them to not focus on the marks and report cards and pressurize their children.
