Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das’ murder issue rocked the state Assembly Saturday.
Raising the issue during zero hour Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra said though 50 days have passed since the murder was committed yet the crime branch probing into the murder case has failed to find out the motive behind the killing of Das.
He wanted to know why the government is trying to take the accused ASI to the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) even after the medical board had stated that he is mentally sound and has no mental problem.
Mishra demanded the state government to present the letter it had written to the Central government seeking FBI assistance in the Naba Das murder case and the letter regarding the court-monitored probe in the case.
