Marriage, also called matrimony or wedlock, binds a man and a woman together. It is the bond that is recognized socially and legally. However, different religions have contrasting customs in terms of marriage too.
But, the rituals followed by tribes of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are a little weird. As per ritual of tribes, a couple has to live in a jungle for one day ahead of their marriage.
This is a ritual which has been going on from centuries. The couple has to stay all the night in the forest and return to their village the following morning after which their marriage is solemnised.
