There are several stars in the Hindi film industry who faced multiple hurdles in the beginning of their careers. To create a different identity in the industry, someone worked as a waiter while appeared as background dancers and the result of their hard work good. Dia Mirza

A year before her debut, Dia featured in song of a Tamil film, En Swasa Kaatre, as a background dancer. Dia, who won the hearts of people with her smile, did her first film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (2001). Dia had won the title of Miss Asia Pacific. She made her web debut as an actress with the ZEE5 web series Kaafir. Set in Kashmir, she stars opposite Mohit Raina in the series.

Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor is undoubtedly a star kid, yet he had to struggle a lot in making a career in Hindi film industry. Shahid Kapoor, who started his career as a background dancer in a few films of the 1990s, and later featured in music videos and television commercials. He made his film debut in 2003 with a leading role in the romantic comedy Ishq Vishk, a sleeper hit for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal is a big name in the south film industry but she too started her career as a background dancer. She was seen as a background dancer with Aishwarya Rai in Uljhane track from Kyun! Ho Gaya Na….Kajal was also seen Singham.

Arshad Warsi

Arshad Warsi started his film career as a background dancer. Not many people know that he also danced in the backdrop in Help Me track from Aag Se Khelenge featuring Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar. In 1996, Arshad first worked in the film Tere Mere Sapne Mein under the banner of Amitabh Bachchan’s production house. However, he got recognition in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput danced behind Hrithik Roshan in a Dhoom Machale song. The Kai Po Che film based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life proved to be a major success for Sushant. The film was at the beginning of his career.
