Bhubaneswar: Carmaker Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for restoration work in Fani-hit districts.
Sr. Vice President, Administration, Stephen Sudhakar J, along with other senior officials from the company and dealer principals of Utkal Hyundai and Aditya Hyundai, met the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and handed over the cheque.
Earlier, Hyundai created a relief task force to enhance the scope of activities and services for vehicle owners affected by Cyclone Fani in Odisha and West Bengal. Hyundai has stationed dedicated emergency road service teams powered by 26 flatbed trucks and 21 towing trucks to support the Fani-affected customers’ vehicles.
