Bolangir: A man committed suicide after stabbing his wife to death over a family feud at Marlad village near Titilagarh in this district Friday.
They have been identified as Bhojaraj Jani (50) and his wife Kumudini Jani.
According to reports, Jani, who was showing abnormal symptoms for the last two months, had been under treatment.
The family members went to bed after dinner Thursday night.
But Jani woke up in the middle of the night and stabbed his wife who was sleeping next to him. Later, he also hanged himself by using a cloth in the same room.
The matter came to the fore after family members woke up and found the two bodies.
A police team reached the village and launched a probe. The bodies were seized and sent for autopsy.
