A shocking video of domestic violence is rapidly going viral on social media. The incident took place in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, where a woman, reportedly the wife of a loco pilot, is seen brutally beating him while his mother watches. In the video, the victim, loco pilot Lokesh Majhi, is seen pleading with his wife to stop, but she continues slapping him. After the video gained widespread attention, the accused wife is now apologising.
Lokesh Majhi has lodged a complaint against his wife, Harshita, for assault at the Satna Kotwali police station. In his complaint, Majhi stated that he married Harshita Raikwar in June 2023. However, after marriage, his wife and in-laws allegedly began harassing him for dowry. He further claimed that despite never asking for dowry, his wife repeatedly threatened to implicate him in false cases.

Majhi recounted that March 20, 2025, Harshita called her mother to his house, and together, they assaulted him. The incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed in their home. Based on Majhi’s complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 296, 115(2), 351(3), and 315(5) of the BNS. Notices have been issued to Harshita, her mother, and her brother.
Meanwhile, Harshita has responded to the allegations, stating that the fight started over a mangalsutra. She claimed, “I hit my husband by mistake. I love Lokesh very much and do not want a divorce. I am ready to apologise with folded hands in front of everyone. Please forgive me; I will not make such a mistake again.”
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police have launched an investigation and assured the victim of full support. In his complaint, Lokesh also mentioned that the accused has been constantly threatening to commit suicide.
