Patana: In a shocking incident, a woman was critically injured after her husband allegedly shot her with an arrow from behind at Haridagotha village under this police limits in Keonjhar district, Thursday night. The injured woman was identified as Sajani Munda of the village. Sources said Sajani was married some years ago to a person from Hatikucha village under Harichandanpur police limits.
However, due to marital discord, she was residing at her parental home where the incident took place. Sajani was critically injured as the arrow pierced her back and its pointy end was visible on the front. Critically injured, Sajani was first rushed to Karanjia Hospital and later shifted to Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). However, as her condition deteriorated, she was later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack.
