Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) in partnership with Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) will organise a virtual ‘Open Day and Science Festival’ for school and college students December 4 and 5. The theme of the programme will be ‘Science for Self-Reliant India and Global Welfare’.
ILS has invited more than 2,000 students for the two-day event. The programme will focus on applications of technology in contributing to human welfare. The event will be inaugurated December 4 at 10.00am.
The programme aims to instill develop scientific minds in youngsters and give exposure to students in the field of science and technology. ILS will organise lectures, interactive sessions with scientists as well as exhibitions during the event.
The event will also feature online demonstrations of laboratory experiments on COVID-19 research. Focus will be laid on molecular biology and agriculture biotechnology.
