Bhubaneswar: IMD’s Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar in its midday weather bulletin December 27 issued a Yellow Warning for dense fog over several Odisha districts.
As per the bulletin, till 8.30am of December 28, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada and Koraput districts.
In the same timeframe, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha and shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of south Coastal Odisha, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and at one or two places over the remaining districts of the state.
Over the next two days, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur in various districts of the state. Over the next six days dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
No large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) is expected over the districts of Odisha during the next five days. It is likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of the state during the next five days.
In Bhubaneswar, over the next 24 hours, fog/ mist would occur in early morning. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 29 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius respectively.
