Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India metrological Centre (IMD) in its Monday 1:30pm bulletin issued a Yellow Warning for 13 districts of the state advising them to remain prepared for rains over next 24 hours.
The districts are – Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Balasore, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Khurdha and Nayagarh.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha over the same period, the bulletin added.
“Due to high waves, sea condition is likely to be rough to very rough along and off Odisha coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea along and off Odisha coast during next 24 hours,” the agency said in its forecast.
In Bhubaneswar, the sky will remain cloudy with one or two spells of rain and thundershower. Maximum and minimum temperature will likely remain around 32 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively over the next 24 hours, IMD said.
