Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Thursday forecast that light rain or thundershower is likely to occur in many districts of Odisha between February 11 and 12.
The weather agency further predicted that minimum temperature (night) is likely to fall slightly by 2-3 degree Celsius over the next two days and gradually rise by 3-4 degree Celsius thereafter at many places over the districts of the state.
From 8:30am of February 11 to 8:30am of February 12: According to IMD, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over Nuapada, Bargarh, Bolangir, Jharsuguda, Subarnapur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore districts.
Besides, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of the state.
From 8:30am of February 12 to 8:30am of February 13: According to the weather agency, light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Boudh, Angul, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh and Jajpur districts. Besides, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar over the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunderstorm/lightning is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are very likely to be around 31 degree Celsius and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
