Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather alert has issued a Yellow Warning for several districts of Odisha Sunday.
Upto 8.30 AM of August 13: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Angul districts.
Besides, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts.
In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.
From 8.30 AM of August 13 to 8.30 AM of August 14: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Kalahandi, Bolangir, Subarnapur, Boudh, Angul, Deogarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of north interior Odisha, Subarnapur, Bolangir, Boudh and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 36 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 36.9 degree Celsius was recorded at Paralakhemundi while the lowest minimum temperature of 23.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Boudh, the bulletin informed.
