Indian Army has opened application process for the NCC special entry course, inviting eligible candidates to apply before the deadline February 6. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 55 vacancies including 50 posts for NCC men and 5 posts for NCC women.

Eligibility criteria:

Age: Candidates aspiring to join the NCC special entry course (including wards of Battle Casualties) should be between 19 and 25 years old as of July 1, 2024. This age range applies to individuals born between July 2, 1999 and July 1, 2005, inclusive.

Educational qualification: For NCC ‘C’ certificate holders, candidates must possess a degree from a recognised university or equivalent, with a minimum of 50 per cent marks, considering marks from all the years. Even those in their final year are eligible to apply, provided they have secured a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in the initial two or three years of their respective three or four-year degree courses.
