Indian cricketers condemn pulwama terror attack

New Delhi: Virat Kohli joined the list of the cricketers who condemned the pulwama terror attack that leads to the death of 45 CRPF jawans when a bus they were travelling in was ripped through in a fidayeen attack (suicide attack) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district Thursday.

I’m shocked after hearing about the attack in Pulwama, heartfelt condolences to the martyred soldiers & prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured jawans,” Virat Kohli tweeted.

Each of these cricketers took to social media to condole the martyrdom of the soldiers and posted tweets condemning the attack which is touted to be the most deadly one.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and former India opener Gautam Gambhir, and many others deplored the attack.

This attack is considered to be bigger that then URI which happened in 2016.

Meanwhile, Indians expressed anger and demanded stern measures post the attacks in Pulwama.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already condemned the attack and has assured appropriate measures on the same.

According to officials sources, terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the attack.
