Intuitive workshop:Mozilla Hackathon 3.0 to brainstorm on simplifying teaching

BHUBANESWAR: Mozilla Club BBSR is all set to organise a ‘WebVR Workshop’ Saturday and Mozilla Hackathon 3.0 Sunday. The WebVR Workshop will be conducted by Bhuvana Meenakshi, official representative of Mozilla, India.

It is for the first time ever that a WebVR workshop is being organised in the state. The theme of Mozilla Hackathon 3.0 is “develop powerful teaching tool” that could solve community problem.

Ideas should be developed, nurtured and shared with the world with an idea to bring change and inspire others to do so. However, the best ideas often emerge from brains sitting over and brainstorming on a single topic. Hackathon is the most enthralling, un-orthodox and best way of getting the best out of these brains.

Hackathon is a fun way to push boundaries and think laterally. But it has also become one of our most inspiring events, a crucible for encouraging, celebrating and rewarding unique ideas.

Mozilla Club BBSR (lead by Manzar Hasnain) is a global network of community members that share Mozilla’s mission to ensure that Internet is a global public resource, open and accessible to all. Mozilla provides free training and resources to help clubs succeed and grow digital literacy in community spaces.

Mozilla Club BBSR conducts various workshops, sessions, study jams, open source events and seminars. By this it spreads the idea of open-source to one and all. This club hosted its first workshop Jan 20, 2019. Various events were held in the six-hour session along with lectures on ‘Hour of Code’, ‘Debugging in Seconds’ and quizzes among others; where the successful participants were rewarded with badges and t-shirts.
