Pathak, who arrived here in Hirakhand Express from Bhubaneswar, would interrogate some more persons this time, sources said.

After his arrival, the investigating officer first went to the court of district sessions judge and met the judge. Pathak also met public prosecutor Ajit Patnaik in his chamber and had a long discussion with him. Like in the earlier instances, the CBI official chose to keep itself away from the media.
Earlier, DSP Pathak and inspector RD Sharma got the certified copies of some important documents related to the case. These documents play a significant role in giving the required momentum to the investigations, sources said.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Supreme Court has asked the Central investigating agency to submit its final status report by August 3. DSP Pathak would quiz five brothers of a particular family, three government employees and some contractors this time, the sources said.

Sleuths had gone to Rayagada, JKPur, Tikiri, Kashipur and Koraput during the first five phases of investigation.
They continued with their probe suspecting that the lady teacher was sacrificed in a political turf war.
