Mumbai: After Navratri, married women are now preparing to celebrate Karwa Chauth and the fever is being seen in the film industry as well.
Some actresses will observe Karwa Chauth for the first time. Even before the festival, actress Janhvi Kapoor had observed a fast for Ishaan Khattar. A video of them in prayer had surfaced on social media but has now been deleted.
Janhvi and Ishaan made their debut together with the film Dhadak. The deleted video featured Janhvi looking at Ishaan through a sieve.
Not only this, the Karwa Chauth song from the film Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge was in the background of the video. It was later found out that the video was from the set of the Zee TV show On Movie Masti With Maniesh Paul in which Janhvi and Ishaan made an appearance.
During this time, both of them acted as if they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Janhvi and Ishaan could be seen recreating Raj Kapoor and Nargis’ evergreen song, Pyaar Hua Iqraar Hua Hai.
After the film Dhadak, there were constant reports of Ishaan and Janhvi’s affair. But their families denied it. They were often spotted going on movie and dinner dates.
