Jasprit Bumrah has this cheeky comment to offer after destroying Delhi Capitals: This is what he said

Dubai: Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc here as his team defeated Delhi Capitals by 57 runs to enter the final of IPL-2020. This is the sixth time that MI have made the finals and have won the title four times. If Jasprit Bumrah maintains the same form in the final, then MI will certainly be strong favourites to win the title a fifth time.

Bumrah had figures of 4-1-14-4, his best in IPL history. He got the wickets of Shikhar Dhawan (0), Shreyas Iyer (12), Marcus Stoinis (65) and Daniel Sams (0). He troubled batsmen with sheer pace and simply was quite unplayable. As soon as the speedster completed his spell, MI posted a tweet acknowledging his contribution to the thumping win.

Bumrah later on said that he felt good to get the man of the match award. He said that as a bowler it felt great to get the man of the match award because it was mainly batsmen getting noticed. “Batsmen have been taking all the awards, so it’s good to get it as a bowler,” Bumrah said with a cheeky smile at the presentation ceremony.

The fast bowler however, made it clear that more than the award he is happy because the team is winning. ““I am okay with not getting wickets and winning the tournament, I have been given a role so I just want to execute that role. The captain (Rohit Sharma) had asked me to play a specific role and I am happy that I could do that,” Bumrah said. “To be honest I am not really worried about awards. I am happy as long as the team continue to win,” he added.
