Bhubaneswar: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), which has a seat-sharing pact with Congress in Odisha, announced candidates for Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha and five Assembly seats Wednesday.
JMM chief Shibu Soren’s daughter Anjali Soren has been nominated from Mayurbhanj LS constituency while Mahesh Chandra Hembram and Sundar Mohan Singh will contest from Saraskana and Bangiriposhi Assembly seats respectively.
Similarly, the JMM has nominated Kalinga Keshari Jena for Moroda Assembly constituency, Sebeyan Aind for Birmitrapur and Sunaram Tudu for Rairangpur Assembly seats.
Congress is yet to nominate candidates for four Lok Sabha and 24 Assembly seats in the state. Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in four phases April 11, 18, 23 and 29.
