Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Thursday sealed the Judicial Complex at Lewis Road here for a period of seven days starting from April 29.
Informing about the move, the BMC, South East Zone, issued an order Thursday.
Acting on an email request by the Registrar, Civil Courts, Khurda informing the BMC about the detection of a series of COVID-19 positive cases in the Judicial Complex, the BMC (South East Zone) sealed the Judicial Complex from April 29 to May 5.
As per BMC orders, the premises of the Judicial Complex shall be sanitized by the Judicial Complex authorities in strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the Central and State governments. No one shall be allowed to move in or out of the premises during the period, except authorized personnel of the BMC.
The positive cases detected at the complex are directed to remain in isolation at their respective residences. If any positive case needs medical attention, the Judicial Complex authorities are to intimate the same to BMC immediately.
