Mumbai: The Supreme Court has transferred the case of Sushant Singh Rajput to the CBI.

Now Kangana Ranaut has taken a dig at Deepika Padukone on Twitter. Deepika has been very vocal about her struggle battling depression and often speaks on social media to raise awareness about mental illness.

Kangana meanwhile ranted on social media about how everyone was trying to portray Sushant as an alcoholic, drug addict and mentally ill person.

Apart from this, Kangana lambasted all those people and mentioned how Sushant has become more popular in India now. While sharing her quote from the interview on social media, Kangana took a dig at Deepika and wrote, “Repeat after me, depression ka dhandha chalane walon ko public ne unki aukat dikhadi #CBIforShushant #SushantSingRajput #1stStepToSSRJustice.”

She also tweeted, “If @deepikapadukone says she suddenly got depressed for a break up which happened 10 years ago, we believe her so give me and Sushant same respect if I say I am not mentally ill or if Sushant’s father says he wasn’t mentally ill believe us also na. Why you forcing illness on us?”

A few days after Sushant’s mysterious demise, Deepika took to social media to raise awareness about depression and mental health. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has ordered the Mumbai Police to hand over the case diary to the CBI along with statements of suspects, witnesses, forensic and autopsy reports. Apart from Kangana, many other Hindi film celebs like Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and others have praised the Supreme Court verdict.

Earlier, fans had launched a campaign to get justice for Sushant. The Enforcement Directorate is also investigating Sushant’s case.

Actress Rhea Chakraborty has been questioned for hours by ED in this case. An FIR has also been registered against Rhea by Sushant’s father KK Singh.
