Kanpur: In what could be one of the most bizarre incidents ever recorded at a school, a class VIII student from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh submitted an application to his school authorities seeking a half-day leave citing his own death as the reason.
What is even more bizarre is the fact that the principal of the school approved the leave without reading the application and the student went home happily.

The student wrote in his letter that he had died at 10 AM, August 20. The letter has since then gone viral on social media leaving internet users in a fit of laughter and incurring wrath for the abject carelessness of the principal. As per sme reports, the letter did not see light until the student’s friends found it.
The teachers at the school have reportedly taken issue with the administration for allowing such an incident to happen. The school administration has not issued any statement as of yet.
