Kareena becomes fan of Diljit Dosanjh after listening to his song

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan has confessed of being a huge fan of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh with whom she has worked in Udta Punjab.

Recently, Diljit Dosanjh released a Punjabi song, titled Kylie + Kareena. In the two-minute 47-second video, Diljit expresses his love for the American reality TV star Kylie Jenner and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.

“Thodi Kylie adhi Kareena Kapoor, tere wargi na hai koi hoor, aaja aaja mainu teri hai lod, match your chunni with the Christian Dior,” sings Diljit, which roughly translates into, “You are a bit of Kylie and a bit of Kareena, there is no one as gorgeous as you. Come baby, I need you, match your scarf with the Christian Dior.”

During a recent interview, Diljit revealed that he took permission from Bebo before releasing this track.

Talking to an Entertainment portal, he said, ‘I wanted to surprise her (Kareena). When the song got ready, I played it for her and also showed the video. Both, Kareena and her husband Saif liked it.

Meanwhile, the song is ruling the trending chats. Kareena heard the song and her reactions were fantastic.

“I’m a fan of Diljit,” she quipped.

Diljeet Dosanjh also took to his Kareena page and posted the reaction of Kareena, in which she can be heard saying, ‘I am quite humble that Diljit sang it for me. I did two films with Diljeet, he does not talk much. He has expressed his love and feelings for me through this song. I would say that he is my fan, but after doing two films with him, Diljeet, now I want to tell him that I am his fan. I hope we will do third movie together. Thank you for this respect and best wishes for this song.’

On professional front, Diljit will be seen next in Rohit Jugraj’s Arjun Patiala, wherein he has been cast opposite Kriti Sanon. The film will come out July 19.

His next Bollywood release after that would be Raj Mehta’s Good News, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani. It will release December 27.
