Keonjhar: After verifying records on the claim that the Nandighosh chariot of Sri Sri Baldevjew Temple in Keonjhar is the tallest in the world, Global Records and Research Foundation (GRRF), an international agency, has given its stamp of approval to the claim.
The global agency has intimated its approval to the district administration. The chariot is 72-ft high. The certificate will be issued later, said sub-collector Somnath Pradhan.
Devotees have appealed to the district administration to apply for its entry into the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of World records.
A team of officials from the agency had visited the temple recently to verify the claim.
The team led by the head of the GRRF (India) Manmohan Rawat checked the documents related to the chariot here and had talks with the sub-collector as well as the endowment department executive officer Somnath Pradhan in this regard.
