Two persons came close to Majhi’s car riding a motorcycle and consecutively hurled two bombs at the vehicle. The MLA was going to a place near Mandua in Keonjhar after attending a public meeting.

“I reached the meeting venue at around 11.00am and the miscreants hurled bombs at my car at around 11:50am. After hurling a bomb, the miscreants fled from the spot. However, they returned again just after a few minutes and hurled the second one,” the MLA had said.

PSO of the legislator Bidyadhar Mahanta chased the miscreants to nab them, but in vain as the road was narrow. They drove the motorcycle towards railway station and fled, Majhi had informed.
