Bhubaneswar: The Court of District and Sessions Judge-Khurda in the state capital was sealed by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) for a period of three days Friday morning. It happened after a number of Covid-19 positive cases were detected in the complex.
The Registrar of the court Thursday informed BMC about detection of the Covid-19 cases in the judicial complex which includes Office of the Endowment Commissioner and Office of Bar Association, an official of the civic body said.
Besides, the civic body also laid down certain conditions for respective office heads, including Bar Association and Endowment Commission as per Covid-19 safety protocols. The BMC has also taking steps to sanitise the premises as soon as possible.

The notification also said that no one shall be allowed either to enter or go out of the office premises during the notified period of three days excepting authorised personnel of the civic body.
Meanwhile, the infected employees have been directed to remain in home isolation. They have been asked to get in touch with the BMC through their respective senior n case they need any medical assistance.
