Kesinga: Construction work on the much-awaited railway under bridge project in Kesinga block of Kalhandi district has been completed. The Rs 10 crore under bridge was completed December 14, fulfilling a long awaited dream of Kesinga denizens.
Kesinga block is the main entrance point of Kalahandi district. A third railway line is under construction in the block. After the construction of the under bridge people of Kesinga block can directly travel to Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai through railway.
Before the construction of under bridges people were suffering from traffic rush problems to cross the level crossing line. After repeated demands, the state government had directed the district administration to construct the under bridge.
