Mumbai: A week after famed Hindi movie choreographer Saroj Khan confided in Salman Khan about her lack of work, her disciple and legendary actor Madhuri Dixit has come to her rescue by offering her work in her movie ‘Kalank’.
Madhuri has joined creative forces with Saroj for dance number ‘Tabah Ho Gaye’ in the film ‘Kalank’.
“I started my career with Saroj Khan. She has been gifted with an art which can make any song look beautiful. When I was told about this song, I said that Saroj Ji can do it with great success. She deserved this song,” said Madhuri.
She will be seen in the role of Begum Bahar in Kalank which also stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt. Helmed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is slated for release this April 17.
Earlier, it was reported that Salman too has offered to work with her in his next project after realising that the noted choreographer doesn’t get to do movies and is instead limited to training aspiring actors. They have earlier worked together in ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ and ‘Andaz Apna Apna’.
Last week, Saroj alleged that she was removed from the movie ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ due to Katrina Kaif and was not doing well in her life. Besides, she was out of work.
