Maharashtra has been majorly affected by floods while rescue teams have been working tirelessly to help the people stuck in the flooded regions. Recently, a heartwarming video of a woman touching an Army man’s feet in gratitude for saving them from the floods has been winning over the internet.
Journalist, Neeraj Rajput, took to his Twitter account to share a video that was captioned, “Heartwarming video from #sangli where a woman pays gratitude by touching soldiers’ feet for rescuing them #Floods2019 #FloodSangli”
The video shows a woman dressed in a saree and a purple sweater sitting in a relief boat that was taking the people to a safe spot. While on the boat, the woman touched the feet of an army man who was standing right next to her in an ode to show her appreciation for all the help. She then touched the feet of another army officer standing on another corner of the boat.
At the end of the video, she can be seen getting up with joined hands thanking everyone as she picked up her belongings that were wrapped in a large polythene bag. Her act of appreciation has left Twitter feeling all kinds of emotion.
