Kantabanjhi: In an incident, a family feud turned fatal where a man brutally bludgeoned his brother-in-law to death and became the person who widowed his own sister.
The incident was reported from Karlabali village under Kantabanjhi police limits in Bolangir district Wednesday.
While the deceased was identified as Durlabha Chhura (28), the accused was identified as his brother-in-law, Dina(30).
According to sources, a verbal duel ensued between the duo over a family dispute. The heated exchange of words took a violent turn when Dina picked up a wooden plank and clubbed Durlabha to death on the spot.
Police have arrested the accused, seized the body and launched an investigation into the matter.
