Cuttack Sadar: A man died while undergoing treatment for snakebite at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, Monday.
The deceased was identified as Sunakar Khatua, a resident of Kuruli village under Ratilo panchayat in Kishorenagar police limits. Sources said Sunakar had gone to the cattle shed to serve fodder to the bovines when a snake bit him.
He was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed. Mangalabag police reached the hospital and sent the body for post-mortem before handing over it to Sunakar’s family members.
