Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police Friday arrested a 24-year-old man on charges of burglary under Nandankanan police limits here May 3. The accused Saman Sabar alias Suman, who hails from Keonjhar, was residing in VSS Nagar area here, ACP (Zone VI) Ramesh Chandra Bishoi said. Bishoi said Suman burgled cash and other valuables from the house of Babuli Jena under Nandankanan police limits when the family was asleep on the terrace late May 3 night. The next morning, Jena found the valuables missing and approached the police. “We zeroed in on Suman and nabbed him. He is involved in six crimes in the City. The burgled items have been recovered,” Bishoi said.
