Patna: In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband after the former ran late in preparing dinner at Ghuntibeda Kumarsahi of Tendera panchayat under Patna police limits in Keonjhar district Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Kuni Lohar (23).
According to sources, Sukram Lohar who is the second husband of Kuni brought mutton home, and asked his wife to cook it Thursday night. However, he got angry over Kuni as she delayed the preparation of the curry. Sukram, who also suspected over his wife’s fidelity picked up a bamboo and thrashed Kuni to death.
Sanjay Lohar, Kuni’s first husband lodged a written complaint against Sukram in this connection Friday following which police arrested the accused. During interrogation, Sukram reportedly confessed to his crime before the cops.
