Sundargarh: Police recovered Friday a man’s body lying in a pool of blood outside his house at Panchara village under Kutra police limits in Sundargarh district Friday. The deceased has been identified as Suku Sorenga. Prima facie he was hacked to death by miscreants the previous night.
According to the family members, Suku had slept outside his house Thursday night. Those inside had no inkling as to what was happening. When they came out in Friday morning, they found Suku’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood.
The family members immediately informed the police. Later, a team from the Kutra police station reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.
On the basis of allegation by the family members, police have registered a murder case and launched an investigation. The police are on the job to find out if the deceased had any enmity with others.
