MBBS abroad costs less

Bhubaneswar: The Utkal Academy organized a seminar here Sunday to sensitize medical education aspirants of institutions and courses available abroad. The seminar particularly focused on avenues available in Ukraine and the Philippines.

The reality of Indian NEET counselling, the reasons why a NEET-qualified student, too, does not get a seat in India, the advantage of studying abroad, the country most beneficial to Indian students, the things that should be taken care of before sending a student abroad, and the benefits of studying in Ukraine and the Philippines were among the topics discussed at the seminar. Weather condition, climate and other factors discussed too, Low course fee and low expenses in studying MBBS abroad discussed in the seminar.

Director of Utkal Academy, Keshav Sharma, said getting a medical admission in India was getting tougher with each passing day in India. With the lot of changes in admission rules in India or abroad, it is puzzling for both students and parents. In India course fees for MBBS is far higher than what exists overseas as a result of which many aspirants cannot afford to study MBBS in India.

As an MBBS abroad is on par with MBBS in India, we believe it is a nice opportunity to join an overseas university. Managing director of the academy Trinath Biswal said a student could complete MBBS abroad at a total cost of Rs24.75 lakh, including fees, hostel and visa extension, among other things.
