MCL, KISS launch anti-corruption drive

Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance department of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) conducted an awareness campaign against corruption at KISS premises here, Thursday.

Munawar Khursheed, IRPF-CVO of MCL, was the chief guest of this ceremony. Vice-chancellor of KISS Prof HK Satpathy and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Khursheed said that this would create a multiplier effect as one student can influence other students also. Considering students as future citizens of India, he urged them to contribute to make India free from corruption as it was the dream of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
As part of the awareness drive, integrity pledge was also administered by Mandakini Majhi, a renowned international Khokho player, to around 5,000 students of the institute. Integrity pledge certificates were distributed to the faculty members and students of KISS University.
