MIL (Odia) question paper leak: Case registered against two teachers in Koraput

Jeypore: After the arrest of nine persons from Dhenkanal and Nuapada, a case has been registered against two teachers from Koraput district for making Odia question paper of Matriculation examination viral on social media on the first day of HSC exam.

Reportedly, the case has been registered against Bandhugaon exam center superintendent and an invigilator. The case has been registered based on a complaint filed by the District Education Officer (DEO).

 

“The case has been registered against the two teachers on basis of the complaint filed by the Koraput DEO yesterday,” said Tapan Kumar Nahaka, inspector in-charge of Bandhugaon.

It is pertinent to mention that a total of nine persons have been arrested so far for making Odia question paper viral on the first day of Matriculation exam Friday.

 

QUESTION PAPER LEAK

The Boden police in Nuapada district arrested two teachers Sunday. Earlier, seven teachers including two centre superintendents and three invigilators of Karangamal and Gopinath High Schools in the district were arrested in Boden following a complaint by the block education officer.

 

Apart from the five arrested, six teachers have been booked in connection with the incident. All these teachers have been suspended. Similarly, many students have been booked for their involvement in the circulation of the question paper.

An hour after the commencement of the Matriculation examination across the state February 22, question papers of Odia reportedly surfaced on social media in Nuapada district and Kamakhyanagar of Dhenkanal district.
