Bhadrak: A minor boy met with a watery grave while playing near a pond at Nuapatna village under Tihidi police limits in Bhadrak district, Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Subham, son of Sashikanta Das of the same village.
Sources said, Subham was playing nearby the pond when accidentally fell into the water body. Family members then pulled him out from the water.
Though he was rushed to Tihidi community health centre, the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’. A pall of gloom descended in the village following the death of the minor boy.
