Angul: A minor girl died of electrocution at Badajhar village near Pallahada in Angul district Sunday.
The deceased was identified as eight-year-old Rani Nayak, daughter of Bijay Nayak.
According to sources, Rani accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire connected to a table fan when she was alone at the house. When Bijay returned home, he found his daughter dead.
On being informed, police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
