Puri: Unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at a person’s house in Satapadagad area under Brahmagiri block in Puri district Sunday night.
According to reports, the miscreants hurled three to four bombs at Raju Jena’s house and fled the scene.
Though none of the family members were injured in the incident, doors and windows of the house have been badly damaged.
On being informed, Satapada Police reached the spot and started an investigation. Threads, stones and iron bolts were seized from the spot.
While the exact reason of bomb attack is not yet known, Satapada Police have been investigating a past dispute between two groups of Satapada and Gambhira villages over a volley ball tournament a couple of days ago.
Earlier, bomb hurling incidents were reported between the rival groups at Satapada College Chhak, leaving one youth injured.
