Cuttack: The body of a 6th battalion constable missing since Tuesday was fished out of a pond in the premises of the battalion here Wednesdaymorning. He was M. Krishna Rao, a resident of Parlakhemundi in Gajapati district.
Rao left home Tuesday and did not return. His family made frantic searches at night, but couldn’t locate him. In the morning the next day, his body was seen floating in the water. A team of the ODRAF fished out the body.
Police said the reason for the death was being investigated. The body was taken to SCB Medical College and Hospital here for autopsy.
