Bhubaneswar: Since its release Pathaan has been breaking one record or the other on a daily basis at the box office. The film has already grossed over Rs 600 crore since hitting the screens January 25. And currently Pathaan which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Major in leading roles and Salman Khan in a cameo, shows no signs of slowing down.

In spite of the huge success that it has already achieved, there are some major technical glitches in Pathaan. Unless one is a careful observer, these mistakes may not catch the eye. But some of the errors are glaring indeed. Here are a few of the mistakes that could have been avoided.

In the film Deepika suffers a gunshot wound on her stomach and becomes unconscious.  When she regains her senses, she notices blood on the right side of her stomach. However, in the night it is seen that Shah Rukh is bandaging the left side of Deepika’s stomach.

The film has a scene where Shah Rukh survives a missile attack in Afghanistan in 2002 by throwing away his GPS-enabled phone. However, GPS services on phones were available from 2007 onwards. This is another mistake which the critics have pointed out.

Another scene shows Shah Rukh surviving a blast inside the train by using the roof of the compartment as a shield. However, seconds earlier it was seen that the roof had been blown away due to the blast.

In another scene Shah Rukh and John Abraham are engaged in a gun battle while on a jetpack. Many have pointed out that the height at which both were flying is not possible without the use of special eye protective glasses. Both however, were not wearing any such glasses.

Many have pointed out the continuous change of tattoos on John’s body. Then in some scenes, his body is bereft of any tattoo. This has also been a point of contention for many viewers.
