Bhubaneswar: With Mo Bus service scheduled to be rolled out in the city Tuesday, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), the company managing the bus service, will come up with the route networks in three phases, starting Tuesday. The first phase will have nine routes.
While the Phase-II network of the service will be launched from November 15, the Phase-III will be rolled out from December 10.
PHASE-I
Sources at CRUT said in the Phase-I, Route No 20 will include Master Canteen terminal and Khurda new bus stand via Vani Vihar square. Route-21 will pass through Master Canteen terminal and Khurda new bus stand via OUAT. Similarly, Route-22 will include Master Canteen terminal and Khurda new bus stand via Jatni.
Route-23 will link Master Canteen terminal and SUM Hospital and Route-24 will pass through Kalinga Vihar and Sai Temple. Route-25 will link Dumduma with Mancheswar and Route-26 will include the route between Dumduma and Chakeisiani. The Route-27 will connect Master Canteen terminal with AIIMS near Sijua while Route- 28 will link Master Canteen terminal with Kalinga Nagar.
PHASE-II
In Phase-II, Route No 10 will connect Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) with Badambadi square in Cuttack via Nandankanan.
Route-11 will connect Master Canteen with Biju Patnaik Park in Cuttack and Route-12 will link Sikharchandi with Lingaraj Temple.
Similarly, Route No. 13 will connect Master Canteen terminal with Patia, Route 14 with Vani Vihar and Uttara Square and Route-15 will join Sikharchandi with SUM Hospital. Similarly, Route- 16 will link BPIA with SUM Hospital, Route-17 with Balianta and Lingaraj Temple and Route-18 will include a hop-on and hop-off service between Lingaraj Temple and Madhusudan Das Park in Pokhariput.
Sources added that around 100 buses will be utilised for the Mo Bus Phase-I network and another 100 buses will be added in its second phase. Similarly, 89 refurbished buses from the older fleet will be used for the Mo Bus Phase-III network.
