Mortal remains of two Odia jawans immersed in sea

Puri: Mortal remains of two Odia jawans — Prasanna Sahu and Manoj Kumar Behera — were immersed Monday in the sea here.

The members of ShreeJagannath Sena took the urns containing their mortal remains in a procession from the Lions gate of the Jagannath temple to the sea via ‘Swargadwar’ for immersion.

Earlier, the members of the ShreeJagannath Sena and Sachetan Nagarik Manch gathered at the Lions gate. They condemned Pakistan for the attack on jawans and shouted slogans “Pakistan murddabad’.

They urged the Indian government to pay back Pakistan in the same coin.

Prasanna Kumar Sahu of 61 Battalions of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a resident of Shikhar village near Naugaon and Manoj Kumar Behera of Ratanpur in Niali of Cuttack district were among the 45 CRPF troopers who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack Thursday.
