Mother’s Public, St. Joseph’s triumph

Cuttack, Jan 23:  Mother’s Public School and St. Joseph’s High School emerged champions in the boys’ and the girls’ categories of the Inter-School basketball tournament, which concluded at the Barabati Stadium here Friday.

In the boys’ segment, Mother’s Public School prevailed over Orissa Police HS 72-67 in a well-contested final. Similarly in the girls’ summit clash, St. Joseph edged out KIIT 15-13.

Earlier in the day, Mother’s Public School beat Cambridge School, while Orissa Police HS defeated Bhakta Madhu Vidyapitha in the semifinals to enter the final of the boys’ segment.
