Pokhran: Rajasthan Minority Affairs minister Shale Mohammad Sunday performed special puja (Rudrabhishek) at the Shiva temple in Pokhran Monday.
While taking to the media, Mohammad said that Western Rajasthan is best example of communal harmony. “Hindus and Muslims both have strong faith in Baba Ramdevji (a temple in Ramdevra of local deity Baba Ramdev),” he said, adding that he visited the temple due to “personal belief”.
The sudden move of the minister surprised people.

The lone Muslim MLA in the cabinet surprised the people through his move.
Later he also worshipped at the famous Ramdevra temple in the district.
Notably, it is the first time an MLA from the Jaisalmer district has received a ministerial berth in the state cabinet, and it is surprising because the district has only 2 assembly seats in the 200 member house of Rajasthan.
